Just a short walk from campus are the St George’s and Fishergate shopping centres, both of which have a selection of well-known stores such as;  H&M, Topshop, Lush and Foot asylum.

If you want more of an independent shopping experience, explore the side streets of the city centre, and discover eclectic hidden gems such as Winckley Street and Cannon Street, where you’ll find quirky stores and plenty of unique cafes and eateries to grab a bite.

A music lover? Independent record store Action Records is perfect for fans of all types of music. Whether you buy CDs or vinyls, chances are you will find your next favourite artist there.

Located just outside of Preston’s town centre, Deepdale Retail Park offers plenty of opportunities to treat yourself at the likes of Game, JD Sports and River Island.

While on the outskirts of Preston in Walton Le Dale is the Capitol Centre with a mix of leisure and retail shops with free parking available.

The iconic Grade I listed Harris Museum and Art Gallery, reveals its history and an in-depth look at the area throughout the ages. The free entry Museum and Gallery in the heart of Preston Town Centre provides both permanent collections and ever changing exhibitions from popular and upcoming artists throughout the year.

More than 750 buildings and structures in Preston are listed by the English heritage. One such building of historical and architectural significance is St Walburge’s Church, located on campus just behind the Media Factory.
